Head of tomahawk (British-made and used for trading furs), iron, incorporating pipe bowl, with stamped leaf motifs & inlayed with copper or brass. A combination of war hatchet and peace pipe. Wooden haft, elliptical in section tapering slightly. hese were often made in Sheffield, or other northern cities, for trade with Indigenous Native American Nations.
