Information

A pen and brown ink and wash drawing depicting the goddess Cybele, sitting atop a lion-drawn chariot, addressing the Corybantes priests and priestess walking in front of her. Cybele is sitting on her throne-like seat in her chariot, wearing a crown and holding a staff in her left arm. In front of her, walking by the lions drawing her chariot, are Corybantes priests and priestess holding cymbals, some of whom looking back towards Cybele. The oval is outlined in yellow pigment.
