Wall Painting

Fragment of a painted mudbrick wall from a royal residence. Part of a Window of Appearances scene: four loose fragments, yellow ground with hieroglyphs and border (cartouche?) in red, blue and green including an a water ripple and a horned-viper hieroglyph (outlined in red). Largest piece is 35 x 30 mm. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface loss and cracked, crazed, slightly friable, surface dirt.
