Richard Norbury was a painter, illustrator, engraver and sculptor active in Liverpool during the 19th century. He was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire in Northern England in 1815. Norbury was elected president of the Liverpool Watercolour Society and was a member of the Liverpool and Cambrian Academies, as well as exhibiting with the Royal Academy between 1852 and 1878.
