Wedjat Eye Amulet

Two tone light blue and black glazed faience Eye of Horus (Wedjat). Convex undetailed underside. Pierced through the length so that it could be threaded and worn. Vertical falcon markings below eye missing. Old label for 56.20.458-462 from history file reads "Amulets - Eye of Horus, Benha (Athribis), Egypt. Presented by the Rev. G. J. Chester. 33.72".
