The Holts used this room to entertain their wealthy friends. Original features include the sideboard with George Holt’s initials and the wallpaper, which has never been repainted. The portraits within the dining room are by some of the finest painters from the 18th and early 19th century, including Thomas Gainsborough and Sir Joshua Reynolds
