Come and hear curator Fiona Slattery Clark talk about a fashion display (currently showing at the Walker Art Gallery) which celebrates the creativity of women designers from 1900 to 2000.

This talk explores the evolution of style, from elegant evening dresses inspired by Parisian 'haute couture' in the first half of the 20th century, to the radical street fashion of Mary Quant and Vivienne Westwood. The romantic visions of Laura Ashley and Gina Fratini, the exoticism of Thea Porter, and the tailored sophistication of Janice Wainwright and Jean Muir will also be discussed.
