Through a series of events, the Museum of Liverpool is looking to explore what makes Liverpool a ‘global city’ and how its history and culture have been shaped by, and continues to influence, the world around it.

The first in the series will focus on Exploring the Influence of the African Diaspora on Liverpool's music scene.
Panelists are: 

  • Jennifer John;  award-winning vocal coach, singer/songwriter and vocal arranger,
  • Ray Quarless; Co-director of the Heritage Development Company Liverpool,
  • and Nikki Blaze; a multi-hyphenate creative and co-director of the Liverpool Hip-Hop festival.
