HYPE (Helping Young People Everywhere) display

A special display by HYPE (Helping Young People Everywhere) inspired by the links between Liverpool and New York.  

HYPE has been delivering heritage projects in schools since 2016. By combining urban green spaces, volunteering and heritage, an innovative project has been created that engages hundreds of young people each year and enables them to learn about their local history and also provides a platform to gain experience, be a positive role model, travel and excel in newfound areas.

Their ‘Either Side of The Pond’ project will take you on a journey and will look at the past, present and future of the two world renowned historic cities. Inthe display you can take a look at just some of the remarkable places and people from each city and the impact they have had on their city, country and globally.

All children and young people will receive a free activity booklet to use at the Museum of Liverpool exploring the display, which you can take away and complete at home too.
