This workshop has been postponed until later in the year. Please keep an eye on this page for updates.
Are you 16-24 years old and looking for a creative outlet? Then join us at the Museum of Liverpool for a lino printing workshop to celebrate International Youth Day.
The theme for International Youth Day 2024 is ‘Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health’. We believe this is an important message and highlights how young people will be the forefront fighters to ensure we achieve these goals and provide for a brighter future. Our workshop will be based on the themes of championing social justice and advocating for environmental conservation.
This workshop will include creating and carving a design that champions these messages onto lino which, can be printed onto tote bags and t-shirts.
All materials are included for these sessions, and no previous experience is needed.
This is aimed for young people 16-24 years old but over 25s are welcome to join us.
Please note that some sharp objects may be used in this workshop due to the nature of the print methods. If you will need any additional support or if there is anything we can do to make this session more accessible for you, please get in touch so we can find out how we can help.
