28 August is considered Liverpool’s birthday. This is the date when King John signed a Royal Charter, creating the borough of Liverpool in 1207. To celebrate this important date, the Museum of Liverpool will be joined by award-winning local illustrator and cartoonist Stu Harrison for some very special workshops.

Join Stu for one of his unique and inspiring sessions for children aged 7 to 14 years old. Take the opportunity to celebrate Liverpool’s birthday by creating your own artwork which you can take away with you. Stu’s step by step approach guides everyone to achieve in a fun, practical and productive way.

Everything you may need will be provided on the day. There are sessions at 10.30am and 1.30pm at the Museum of Liverpool on 28 August and 29 August. Each session will last 90 minutes. A limited number of tickets are available for each session and cost £5.00 per child with a maximum of two accompanying adults. Tickets go on sale from 5 August and can booked below from that date.
