Skylight Thursdays – Beyond the Beat

Objects always have more than one story and there is always more to learn!

Storytelling, memories and lived experience are at the heart of social history.

As part of the Beyond the Beat display, we would love you to share your stories, memories, and shared experiences of the 1960s local music scene. We want to hear about your favourite groups, the best clubs, or the exciting music scene you were part of.

The information you contribute will become an important voice in our museum catalogue and help the social history team in their ongoing documentation of the Peter Kaye Photography archive, some of which we will be sharing during the sessions.
