Pottery Modelling Masterclass led by Art School Tsymbal

Join us for this special workshop as part of our Eurovision celebrations at Walker Art Party, led by Ukrainian artists from Art School Tsymbal.

Modelling contributes to the active development of fine motor skills and coordination of movement, and in addition to this, clay therapy has been known to have a positive effect on a person's emotions.  In this pottery modelling session, participants will be given the opportunity to create a ceramic toy from potter's clay with the guidance of the masterclass team. Upon completing the lesson, participants can either take the toy home to dry and advised of the care instructions (and provided with packaging), or this can be sent to the workshop for firing in the kiln for a sturdier ceramic finished piece.

This session is suitable for anyone aged 7+, however please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. No previous experience is required.
