Windows into the soul: Stained glass in the Renaissance Galleries

Join us for this special talk as part of our Renaissance inspired Walker Art Party, led by Nicola Scott, Curator of Decorative Art.

Find out about these fascinating glass panels, which are on display for the first time at the Walker. The curator will explain the centuries-old art of glass painting and the skill of the craftsmen who made the windows. Dating from 1500, each rare pane tells a story and reveals the faith and beliefs of the people who owned them hundreds of years ago.
