On Saturday 8th March, celebrate British Science Week 2025 at World Museum - come along to discover more about the world around us, how our bodies work and what real life scientists at the University of Liverpool are doing to help us all be healthier and happier. Join us for a fantastic FREE drop in event that's fun for children of all ages, (and adults too!)

Try your hand at our interactive activities, follow the treasure trail and be wowed by the wonders of science.

Here’s a taste of what you can expect:
- What your poo says about you – ever wondered what poo is made of? What is the science of smelling poo? Explore how our digestive system works and have a go at making your own play doh poo!
- Meet the Mosquitoes - Have you ever had an itchy mosquito bite? Do you want to see the culprit up close? Come see the mosquitoes and learn everything you need to avoid these tiny but mighty insects
- Food for thought - When we eat, our brains expect certain things to happen – a delicious cake will make us feel happy or a juicy apple will give us energy! Try out some tasty challenges to learn what your brain expects from different foods.

Join us for a day full to the brim with scientific fun – see you at the Museum!
