Megan Crutcher
Historian, archaeologist, and PhD candidate at Texas A&M University, co-director of the Kru Coast Heritage Initiative. Her research highlights West African sailors like the Kru, examining their resistance to colonisation and the intersections of race and labor exploitation.
Herman Bennett
Renowned scholar of African diaspora history, focusing on colonial Latin America. He has extensively studied African slaves and freedmen in colonial Mexico, examining their interactions with Native Americans and Europeans.
