Follow the travels of porcelain objects from the fiery kilns of China to storm-tossed ships and curiosity cabinets in Tudor London.

Award-winning poet Sarah Howe and BBC New Generation Thinker Lauren Working will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the objects, history and ideas that inspired the museum’s immersive ‘I, too, am a survivor’ exhibition.

You will get the chance to visit the exhibition and gain special access to one of the museum’s most beloved porcelain objects. The workshop will end with a brief creative writing exercise, with Sarah leading you step-by-step through drafting a poem of your own.

Suitable for visitors aged 16+
